HOUSTON, June 9, 2014 – Aldridge (www.aldridge.com), a leading provider of information technology (IT) outsourcing with elite first-response support, today announced the completion of its acquisition of IS Support, Inc., a Houston-based provider of managed services. The acquisition gives clients of IS Support, Inc. access to Aldridge’s mature and growing managed services practice, which can simplify IT operations, provide faster issue response and offer senior knowledge on a daily and ongoing basis.

“IS Support, Inc. is a good fit with strengths in managed services, cloud services and professional services, which are our main areas of business,” said Aldridge President and COO Patrick Wiley. “Through the acquisition process, we have been impressed with the IS Support team’s skill sets, values and attitude. We are excited to offer Aldridge clients access to additional staff and skill sets so they can take greater advantage of best-fit technology solutions.”

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Aldridge has appointed IS Support, Inc. CEO, Steve Combs, to the position of Vice President. Aldridge further plans to retain IS Support Inc.’s employees.

“As our clients’ businesses have evolved and their IT needs have become more sophisticated, it became clear that we would need to find the right partner with broader, deeper skills than we could offer alone,” said Combs. “With its superior technical expertise, emphasis on small and midsize businesses that are growing, and multi-city capabilities in the Houston and Dallas areas, Aldridge is perfect.”

Aldridge now has more than 75 employees and serves more than 500 clients in the Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth markets. The company recently celebrated its 30th anniversary.

Aldridge gives business executives and IT professionals a way to save time, energy and money through a broad range of outsourced custom IT services, such as:

  • Managed Services
  • Professional Services
  • Cloud Services

Unlike other IT outsourcing firms, Aldridge guarantees that each client’s team of first responders will take immediate action to resolve any IT problems that arise. In fact, their mission is to fully understand the client’s business and IT environment, which means the support teams proactively prevent most problems. By providing clients a single point of contact for their entire IT environment, Aldridge enables clients to focus on other parts of their business.
